My husband and I are in danger of losing our apartment--and we're down to our last one hundred dollars to spend on our needs. I'm not earning a lot of money from my tutoring work--and my husband's work is slowing down (hopefully there will be another opportunity to get some work in January). Our finances have been up-and-down this year, but we made it. Usually we can make it to the end of a year with something to count on for the first few months of a new year. This year we don't know what's gonna happen, and it's got my husband worried about our future. Actually, I'm a little shaky about it, but we've made it through every one of our four years of marriage--through lean years and (somewhat) meaty years.
