I am a kidney cancer advocate and a kidney cancer survivor. They take the kidney out and she will be fine, tell her to get scans for the rest of her life, RCC is a sneaky cancer. I pray it hasn't spread but if it did please know there are many treatments now and people live long lives now known as a chronic disease.
