All that I have asked for myself, I confidently ask for others; for my family, my relations, my benefactors, my friends and for my enemies. I ask it for the whole Church, for all the orders of which it is composed; more especially for our Holy Father, the Pope; for our bishop, for our pastors, and for all who are in authority; also for all those for whom You desire that I should pray. Give them, O Lord, all that You know to be conductive to Your glory and necessary for their salvation. Strengthen the just in virtue, convert sinners, enlighten unbelievers, heretics and schismatics; console the afflicted, give to the faithful departed rest and eternal life; that together we may praise, love and bless You for all eternity.
