My son Bobby's wife Tiffany is 8 weeks pregnant. She started spotting a few days ago and went to the ER. They told her that her hormone levels were good and the baby was where he was supposed to be but they couldn't find a heartbeat and that was worrisome. They scheduled her to come back in today for further tests unless things got worse.

Things got worse last night. She started to bleed more heavily. They called me at around 12:30. I suggested they go to the ER, but they have no transportation to get home had they taken an ambulance in. They live about 4 hours from me. She said the bleeding was worse, and it scared her but not really bad. So I had her lift her pelvis with pillows and had bobby get some lightly sugared water into her as long as she was awake to prevent dehydration and low blood sugar. I told them if it got worse or there was any cramping they had to go in no matter what and we'd figure how to get them home later.

It got worse. They called me at 4:30. They'd just gotten home from the hospital. Tiffany was heartbroken. The baby was still where he was supposed to be on the uterine wall, her hormone level was still good, and they finally found the baby's heartbeat. But, the heartbeat was way too slow. They told her that they thought she was in the middle of a miscarriage. And, that she needed to come back in in 2 more days for further tests.

Social services at the hospital paid for a taxi ride home for them.

I believe that our God still performs miracles. I believe that every child is one. I believe that He is with Bobby and Tiffany and their baby during this time of struggle. My grandchildren are being abused emotionally, mentally, and physically. I filed a report with social services yesterday. I'm so afraid of what will happen. Mostly that they'll be left in the situation that they are in. They were removed before for abuse but as their parents agreed to let them live with me, there was no court hearing, therefore no court order. I was told not to give them back. I didn't. They took them back.

I'm asking for prayer for the safety and for peace for these 4 beautiful children that God has created in his image. I'm asking for prayer for myself so that I can be at peace and have the strength to do what is best for them, even if it is painful for me. I am also asking for prayer for their parents that God will touch their hearts and the Holy Spirit will convict them of what they are doing to these babies and that they will change.

Please pray for my son. He is a born again Christian, but has lost his way. He hurt himself last night intentionally, became very violent toward family members, and ended up going to the hospital with the police. He's so full of anger and hurt, and I know that God can heal all of his wounds and will. Please pray for peace and that he will remember that the Love of God is there for him and stronger than any pain or anger he may feel. Thank you and may God bless you.
