Amen! I am so glad I am not a "perfect being". What on earth would I do with myself (smile)

God can and will do it. I am a living witness. I stumbled onto "an all out heart cry to the Lord-I got real"on-purpose" about avoiding people, places and things. Today, I KNOW, that when I was REALLY ready (GOD knows our real) God made a way out of no way. I had no support or family and nowhere to live (which kind of fueled the whole thing)...God sat me down in an environment which allowed me the time to re-calibrate to the person He made me to be, to return to myself and HIM. Gen. 50:20 is true and real, God's Word will not return to Him Void. It wasn't easy and hasn't been easy, sometimes people label us in the moment and for me, 23 years after the fact, I learned that there's a pretty large population of people who will not (at all costs) stand accountable for their own misdeeds/mistakes but will never change the label society put on you. One's own insecurity creates the need to pin a knee to people that God is raising up. It gives a false sense of power. It's what the devil does through any empty place he can fill.
Brace yourself and hold on to God's unchanging hand. Never forget: Greater is He who is in you than he/she that is of the world. Stay focused on your "RESPONSES". This is YOUR JOURNEY "to learn to" simply abide in Christ and He in you. God won't disappoint. The weapons will form, the chips will be stacked against you (on purpose), pray for them as God exposes them (He will do it) and forgive often. You can't make it harboring offense and bitterness. It won't be easy, God will heal those broken places in YOU which you will come to recognize are the root cause of "whatever" your addiction is. They are all the same in God's eyes. YOU got this---you told on the devil. Every time you do-you take a little more power from him over you. You don't belong to him anymore!!!! Read about who YOU ARE in Christ, I started with Ephesians. God sent His Word and healed them. Psalms 107:20. The one thing I know is that evil only comes against those who are slated to set multitudes free (a threat to the kingdom of darkness). Get you armor on and go in-your son will follow your lead, in due time...Let God work on him THROUGH YOU. You are loved and I am praying for your heightened endurance.

The Lord convicts He does not condemn. Repent, thank the Holy Spirit for loving you to a point of correction, whatever yours may be. I thank you for your transparency.
