I have come here often in the last 5 years to ask for prayers for my son, Dan. Dan has had constant chronic pain from 4 back surgeries for those 5 years. Dan is only 43 and this has been his life since he was only 38. He can no longer do the things that made him feel as though he were accomplishing taking care of his home and wife and he STILL works FULL TIME swing shift at a very physically demanding job.

Dan is now also suffering from PTSD with all the trauma from the surgeries ... his pain on most days is a 7 or higher and on good days a 5 or 6. He does not want to live like this for long. He is so depressed. He has always done for anyone that needed help and he feels so alone as no one sees the pain and when he mentions it they tell him it is all in his attitude and head.

The doctors are trying to push this off on each other and as far as pain management, they are wanting to put in a spinal cord stimulator and Dan is still a young man.

I see so many with issues like this but they are older and do not have to work full time and try to balance doctors and work and home life. Dan is soooo depressed and I am so worried that if the pain does not soon stop, he will do something drastic as he has told me that he does not want to go on disability and become a burden to society.

I thank anyone willing to pray for Dan. I have been doing prayers, masses, rosaries, chaplets for the last 5 years and I am still of the belief that God will heal. My son thinks he is being punished or that God does not care about him.

Thank you and I pray each evening for all in pain, suffering, with disease, addiction, depression especially for the young and the children.
