I would like to know what is it I have to do secure a friendship with someone. Why is my time in someone’s life so meaningless? Do I not matter to people? Is that why I have no friends? Seriously a man in his 40s should have a few male friends to rely upon but I have NONE. I beyond sadness at this point. I have no more tears to cry. My loneliness for friendship has faded. How much do I actually mean to people if they don’t care to have me in their lives enough to call me a friend ?

Father,
I lift up every man who quietly carries the weight of wanting real friendship but finds it difficult to build as an adult. You see the ones who feel isolated, the ones who don’t know where they fit, the ones who long for brotherhood but don’t know how to reach for it.
Strengthen their hearts.
Give them courage to open up, even when past experiences have taught them to stay guarded. Remind them that needing connection is not weakness — it is how You designed us.
Lord, guide them toward people who are trustworthy, steady, and sincere.
Men who listen without judgment.
Men who show up.
Men who sharpen, encourage, and uplift.
Heal the places where disappointment, betrayal, or silence have made friendship feel risky.
Break the lie that they must carry everything alone.
Break the fear that vulnerability makes them less of a man.
Give them opportunities to connect — naturally, authentically, without pressure.
Let the right friendships form in Your timing, with Your wisdom, and with Your peace. And for the men who feel invisible, overlooked, or forgotten:
Wrap them in Your presence.
Let them know they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.
Build in them the kind of friendships that last — friendships rooted in honesty, respect, and mutual strength.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Lord, we lift Shawn to You today.
You see his loneliness, his questions, and the pain of feeling unseen.
Remind him that his life has value, his presence matters, and he is never forgotten by You.
Bring people into his life who appreciate him, encourage him, and call him friend.
Heal the hurt in his heart and fill him with renewed hope, strength, and peace.
Surround him with Your love today and let him feel Your nearness.
Amen
Thank you for praying for me
