Prayer Request
Please pray for my Dad, George. He has Lewy Body Dementia and has been having visions/hallucinations/vivid memories/dreams?!โฆ These are getting more detailed, dramatic, and frequent. His most recent includes my mother who passed away back in 2013. He says whatever he is experiencing isnโt causing him distress, but he has called for help twice (ems involved), and the topics are of a distressing nature. It is hard for me to respond in the appropriate manner to what he tells me. I just try to reassure him while stuffing my own feelings. Thank you in advance for your prayers ๐๐ผ๐

His mind is moving through memories, visions, and dreams that blur together, and even when he says they donโt distress him, the intensity of them is hard for those who love him to witness. Bring calm to the places in his mind that feel unsettled. Let Your presence be a soft anchor when his thoughts drift into confusion or vivid scenes from the past. Give Melissa wisdom and steadiness as she listens to him, especially when the things he shares are painful or difficult to respond to. Surround her with patience, compassion, and clarity so she can meet him with love instead of fear. And God, hold George in a peace that protects him from distress, even when his memories or visions involve those he has lost. Let Your comfort fill the spaces where his mind wanders, and let Your strength carry Melissa as she walks this path with him. Amen
