Please pray for my Mom, Rose. I love her dearly. She is 81 and fell last week. he stress from the fall caused a heart attack. She was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis (narrowing of the Aortic Artery) The Cardiologist at the Hospital told us that there are no options for her... no procedures that she would qualify for because she has myleodisplastic anemia (pre-luekemia). ( Her blood has been improving though) Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is conducting a clinical trial for patients who are too week for open heart surgery. It is a new method using a catheter to go in and replace the aortic valve. They say she may be a candidate. Please pray that she will be accepted for this or another procedure that will help her heart get back to normal. Also please pray for me because I am having a very hard time with this. She has been talking about whether or not she should choose not to recessitate (DNR) if she ends up back at the hospital. I just want her to get better. I can't imagine loosing her now. She needs to stick around so that I can give her her first grandchild. She has a lot of longevity in her family. She is a strong, stubborn, sweet woman and there should be no reason why she shouldn't live to be over 100 if we can just get her back in good health. I would appreciate your prayers so very much.
