Please pray for my Aunt who recently was admitted to a Nursing Home due to dementia. She is miserable and thinks we have deserted her there instead of letting her come home. She thinks she can take care of her home and her self and makes her daughters sad that she is fighting it so. She cannot be left alone. Please pray for her acceptance and that she'll find joy in her new home and that her daughters will find peace and know that they've done the right thing.
I was working as a teller in a bank, when an elderly man came in looking despondent. When I asked him what was wrong as I could feel his pain, he replied, "My grandson was recently in an accident as he rode his motorcycle he was hit by a truck. Doctors do not give him much hope of recovery." I was hesitant to do anything, until God nudged me and said "Pray for him". I said to him, "Let me pray for your grandson right now." I grabbed his hands and prayed with him at my teller window, and prayed that the doctor was not the authority on his grandson's life, but that God was the ultimate healer and would heal his grandson." He thanked me profusely and left the bank. I didn't think much of it after that, but about 3 weeks later he came in and went to my manager. He told her what I had done, and that due to that prayer his grandson was now awake and on the road to complete healing. He was so grateful to me, and came to thank me again. I told him, "It was not me - but it was God who heard the prayer and answered it for your grandson." I was now sure that listening to God when he tells me to do something was the right course of action ALWAYS!
