Please pray for my son who is turning 21 tomorrow and facing jail time for probation violation. He was in a small town dropping off a friends car at a college campus and was stopped for a broken tail light. He was arrested because he was not supposed to be on campus because he was not enrolled. He was sentenced to 6 months probation, 40 hrs community service and a $1500 fine. He completed all requirements but did not have the money to pay the fine in full. Probation was extended and he has been checking in each month. When he went to check in Thursday, he was arrested. His probation officer said it was because of failure to report. He has never missed a report date. He had previously requested to have his probation transferred to Dallas where we live because he had no job, no place to live and had to rely on others for transportation. His probation officer told him he would have to live on the street because he couldn' t leave the county. For reasons unbeknownst to us, she has threatened each month to have him locked up. He has never been in any other trouble got good grades in school and is in jail now with "real" criminals until Tuesday when he sees the judge who will decide if he can be released or has to be retained. I am heartbroken. I am trying to keep the faith. I know God is in control. I am soliciting prayers for favor and grace and for my son's safety. Thank you all in advance
