Pray for my husband who has the beginning stages of Alzheimer's and for me to take each day on day at a time. For our father God to give me strength to understand where my husband is at and not argue with him. For he forgets once he get upset and I hold on to anger. No longer do I want to be mad but to understand it is the disease not him
I was in a situation where I was so lost. I was working for a Dentist who I thought loved me but ended up breaking up with me and fired me. I was lost devastated and hurt and had lost who I was. This was in March and to make matters worse my grandson was diagnosed with bone cancer at 11 years of age....so I went to live with my daughter to help her with grandson and I was also taking classes to finish my paralegal studies at 50 years of age. Continued my studies and helped with grandson and I was so lost....then went home to see my mother for Thanksgiving...visited with her on Saturday and she passed away the next day. I became more depressed and continued to finish my studies and was so lost.....just graduated and a few days later my grandson passed away....then my dad took ill and he passed away. By this time I lost it and became very depressed for three years. My ex husband came back into my life and took care of me for three years and slowly helped me start praying and I continued daily and I started crying out loud to God Why Why did you take the most precious people in my life. I never gave up on prayer and faith even if I was angry...it was part of my grieving and daily he started making me stronger and stronger. I believe he gave me my second granddaughter who is the kindest sweetest quiet grandbaby to help me heal and then he gave me another grandson who is the most active loudest to snap me out of my depression. I never gave up on praying and crying until I was feeling better...today I am stronger but God has given me yet another situation to deal with and I do believe he has a plan to help us and make us stronger....he gave me back my ex husband to help me and now I have to be even stronger...you see my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and he has changed a lot and I have to understand his memory and brain is no longer like before. He is teaching me that in life when one is down you are lifted up which is what my husband did for me and now its my turn to lift him up. Not easy but I feel so much better with Jesus in my daily life. I praise him daily no matter how difficult some days can become.
