Life had gotten the best of me and with turmoil and chaos surrounding me I decided to take my life. By God's grace and the love of a family member angels were dispatched to my door in the form of EMT's , Firemen, and a tenacious Police Officer. I was whisked away to the ER where I again was surrounded by angels in the form of Nurses, Doctors and support staff. My self loathing and attempts to do away with myself landed me in the ICU with kidney failure, and extremely low blood pressure. While I laid on my bed of affliction it was then that my earthly father came to me, bearing a daily bread affirmation book with highlighted in yellow Matthew 11:28, COME TO ME ALL YOU WHO ARE HEAVY LADEN AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. With wisdom and encouragement from my earthly father, my Heavenly Father used him to witness to me of the saving grace and mercy of a living God, Jesus Christ. In that moment, in my deepest despair, I met a man who died for me so that I may live! No matter what I was facing that lead me down that dark hopeless road, the Savior of the world was waiting with arms wide open holding for me all that I was seeking in the world that far exceeded the plans I had for myself . On that day I surrendered and accepted eternal life through my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. My story is not pretty, and there are those who may be ashamed to even share it. By my faith and the words of my testimony my hopes are that I may through Jesus encourage someone else who is ready to give up, and I am grateful that the Lord is using me in this way. To have the honor to further God's Kingdom by reaching others has truly turned my ashes to beauty, all thanks to Jesus Christ
