Prayer Request
Can you please pray for my church member. She had surgery done on her neck. The Pain won't go away for 60 days. Will you please pray that she has good days in spite of the pain. Also Please pray for my Strength that I continue not to tell her that I love her. Also Please pray that my best friend comes home on Feb 21 we have concert tickets for Feb 22.

I have had several neck surgeries. The first 2-3 weeks after surgery are painful, but the pain will ease up each day after that. Wearing that horrible brace makes it hard to lie in a comfortable position, but she will adjust. You can show you love her by praying for her and respecting her wishes. She really needs rest right now. Visitors and phone calls will only cause more pain and delay healing. I have also had low back surgeries, and I can tell you that I would rather have 10 low back surgeries than 1 neck surgery. The best thing anyone can do to show their love is to let her rest for 2-3 weeks. Rest is so important to help the bones fuse.
