please pray that I develop a strong close personal relationship with Jesus. I am a new christian and feel like my prayers fall on deaf ears and that while what I read in the bible is interesting, I don't feel or understand God talking to me. I ask for prayers because I have been baptized according to John but I do not speak in tongues so I don't think I am baptized by the Holy Spirit. I have asked the Lord to be my personal Lord and savior and for his forgiveness and I felt like a weight was taken off of my chest. Thanks in advance. My name is Kevin
